Sonam Kapoor may have hit the right notes at her debut appearance in Cannes 2011, but what we can't let go of is the fact that she also had her first faux pas at an international event! Sonam, who is staying at Hotel Martinez at Cannes wore this Vivienne Westwood blue gown and sadly, the sleeve slipped. Oops!
Sonam, who has been a L'Oreal ambassador for three years now has joined Indian beauties Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Freida Pinto at Cannes this year. While she has become a photographer's delight, her fashion mistake can't be ignored.
Sonam has also been overdoing her stint in the colours white and black. Her look in the Chopard party at Cannes, where she wore The Row and carried a Lieber clutch with Ferragamo shoes along with emeralds from Chopard, also made a not-so-great show. Definitely not colourful enough for a young actress like her.
While she may be the most fashionably gorgeous actors of our time, a faux pas cannot be forgiven, not at Cannes anyway! The slip-of-the-sleeve to reveal an oomphy cleavage might be eye tonic for her fans but in the world of International fashion, it is an oops moment! Thankfully, Sonam looked like she didn't care and managed it pretty well.
